Mr. Thomas M. Whitesel is Chief Risk Officer of the Company. His responsibilities include working with executive management and the Board of Directors to define and communicate the Companys risk appetite, developing and executing FNBs Enterprise Risk Management process and overseeing key enterprise risk management processes across the organization. In 2004, Whitesel joined FNB as the Director of Risk Management. He has more than 30 years of risk management experience. He previously served as Director of Risk Management for KPMG, specializing in credit risk and allowance methodologies, and has held roles in risk management and corporate planning for financial institutions including Mercantile National Bank, Santa Monica Bank and Security Pacific Bank. Whitesel began his banking career as an examiner for the Comptroller of the Currency. A graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Whitesel holds a bachelors degree in Finance.
