Among other things, he has covered the 2000 BushGore electoral race for the White House the first international Al Qaeda trial in Manhattan the September 11, 2001 attack on America the war in Afghanistan the war in Iraq the 2004 and 2008 presidential campaigns. He has visited and reported on the Guantanamo detention camp at U.S. Navy Guantanamo Bay base, Cuba. He has covered the 2008 financial crisis, and he has extensively reported on the American digital, energy and manufacturing businesses. He teaches a class on Journalism innovation at Master on Journalism, ALMEDUniversit Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in History from American Public University. His latest book is LUltima Notizia, an essay on digital transformation in the media business. since 2015.
