Mr. Patrick C. Haden is Independent Chairman of the Board of TCW Strategic Income Fund, Inc. Mr. Haden, the Independent Chairman of the Board of the Company, is the Athletic Director of the University of Southern California. Previously, he was a General Partner in Riordan, Lewis Haden, a private equity firm, and serves on the boards of Tetra Tech, Inc., an environmental consulting company, MWF, a mutual fund complex managed by an affiliate of the Advisor, and TFI, a mutual fund complex managed by the Advisor, of which he is also the Independent Chairman. Mr. Haden is a Rhodes Scholar and prior to August 2010 was a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Southern California.
