Ms. Mary Judith de Souza is Joint Company Secretary of Ascendas Property Fund Trustee Pte. Ltd., the TrusteeManager of Ascendas India Trust. She joined Ascendas in 2005 and has more than seventeen years of practice as a corporate and commercial lawyer. Her experience was acquired during her appointment as legal counsel with a governmentlinked technology group and thereafter, while in practice in a local law firm based in Singapore with several branches in the region. She has worked with both local and foreign companies and has acquired a broadbased understanding of the concerns and needs of investors in Southeast Asia. As a result of her regional exposure while in legal practice, she was able to acquire first hand knowledge of the commercial, business, cultural and operational issues encountered in doing business outside Singapore. Mary currently heads Ascendas Groups Legal team. She holds an LL.B. degree from the National University of Singapore and is an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. since 2013.
