Mr. Todd A. Penegor is the President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Wendys Company. Mr. Penegor was a director of the Company since May 2016. He joined the Company in June 2013 and has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since May 2016. Prior to that, he served as our President and Chief Financial Officer from January 2016 to May 2016. Mr. Penegor also served as our Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and International from December 2014 to January 2016 and as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from September 2013 to December 2014. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Penegor worked at Kellogg Company, a global leader in food products, from 2000 to 2013 where he held several key leadership positions, including Vice President of Kellogg Company and President of U.S. Snacks from 2009 to 2013, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kellogg Europe from 2007 to 2009 and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kellogg USA and Kellogg Snacks from 2002 to 2007. Prior to joining Kellogg, Mr. Penegor worked for 12 years at Ford Motor Company in various positions, including strategy, mergers and acquisitions, the controllers office and treasury. Mr. Penegor is actively involved with various civic organizations and serves as Vice Chair of the board of trustees of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and as a member of the Michigan State University Eli Broad College of Business financial advisory board. since 2016.

Wendys Leadership Team
