Mr. Andrew Bassat is the founder and board member of IDP EDUCATION LIMITED. He leads SEEK Strategy and Business development team. He is responsible for overall strategic direction progress of expansion opportunities acquisitions strategic alliances with key partners and online marketing. Andrew is also responsible for SEEK Learning. Prior to cofounding SEEK Andrew was a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton where he was involved in a wide range of strategic assignments for major Australian and international corporations and prior to that worked as a solicitor at Corrs Chamber Westgarth. Andrew holds a BS degree from the University of Melbourne a Bachelor of Laws degree from Monash University and a MBA degree from Melbourne Business School.

IEL Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the IEL's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: IEL inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of IEL. The board's role is to monitor IEL's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. IEL's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects. On the other hand, IEL's outside directors are responsible for providing unbiased perspectives on the board's policies.
