He previously worked at Shell Oil and Daimler Benz. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Stanford University. At AmBev he held various positions in Finance Operations and Sales before being appointed Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer he served as Zone President North America from January 2005 to December 2005. since 2005.
