Mr. Daniel M. Neidich is Independent Director of General American Investors Company Inc. In addition to his tenure since 2007 as a Director of the Company Mr. Neidich is the Chief Executive Officer of Dune Real Estate Partners LP and was the Founding Partner and CoChief Executive Officer of Dune Capital Management LP. Mr. Neidich joined Goldman Sachs in 1978 in the real estate banking department and became a partner in 1984. Subsequently he became head of the Real Estate Department in 1990 and served as a Senior Director member of the firms Management Committee cohead of the Merchant Banking Division and Chairman of the Whitehall Investment Committee until 2003. Mr. Neidich is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Child Mind Institute Prep for Prep a member of the Real Estate Roundtable and Trustee of the Urban Land Institute
