Mr. John M. Green is NonExecutive Director of Worleyparsons Limited. He is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Member of the Nominations Committee. He was Acting Chairman of the Board for a short period in fiscal year 2011. He is company director writer and cofounder of book publisher Pantera Press. He is the author of two novels . He was NonExecutive Director of QBE Insurance Group Limited since March 1 2010. He is Member of the Australian Government Takeovers Panel and Director of The Centre for Independent Studies. He was previously an investment banker at Macquarie Bank as Executive Director. His career before banking was in law including as a Partner in Freehills and Dawson Waldron. In past years he was also Member of the ASX National Listings Committee and held a number of posts in the Securities Institute of Australia . Prior to his appointment as NonExecutive Director of the Company on listing in November 2002 he was Member of the advisory board for nine years including a period as its Chairman. He holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Laws. He is Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. since 2014.
