Mr. Lars Josefsson was Independent Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vestas Wind Systems AS since March 29, 2012. He is also Chairman of the Companys Technology Manufacturing Committee and Member of the Nomination Compensation Committee. He is Independent Consultant. Previously, he held various management positions at ABB between 1977 and 1999. He was also President at ALSTOM Power Sweden AB, President of Siemens Industrial Turbines AB and President of Sandvik Mining and Construction . He has knowledge of managing international companies including research and development, technology and production. He is Chairman of the Boards of Directors of Ouman Oy and TimeZynk AB, as well as Member of the Boards of Holmen AB and Metso Oyj . He holds MS degree from School of Engineering Physics, Chalmers Tekniska Hogskola, a degree in Business Economics from Uppsala universitet and he completed International Advanced Management Program in 1990. since 2012.

Vestas Wind Systems Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Vestas Wind's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Vestas Wind inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Vestas.
