Mr. JeanMarc Lechene has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Vestas Wind Systems AS since July 1, 2012. He is also Chairman of the Board of Norican AS and Member of the Board of Velux AS. He has experience in the production industry, working in companies in France, the United States, Canada and China. In his previous positions he had the operational responsibility for several factories and the task of redefining strategy and improving profitability. He also worked as a Private Consultant implementing cost reduction projects. Between 2011 and 2012, he served as President, Lechene Consulting. From 2008 to 2011, he was Executive Vice President of Truck Tires Europe at Michelin. From 1993 to 2008, he held several positions at Lafarge, among others as Senior Vice President of Cement Strategy, Executive Vice President of China Cement Operations and Senior Vice President President of Canadian Cement Operations. From 1988 to 1993, he worked as Senior Manager, Manager and Assosciate at McKinsey Company in France. He was also Deputy Technical Director and Technical Sales Engineer at Dassault Systemes S.A. in France. He holds MBA degree from INSEAD from 1988 and Master Degree in Engineering from Ecole des Mines de Paris from 1981. since 2012.

Vestas Wind Systems Leadership Team
