Mr. Arne Giske no longer serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Veidekke ASA effective as of September 1, 2019. He has held the position since July 1, 2013. Before that, he has served as Executive Vice President of Property Development Division in Scandinavia at the Company from 2007. Before that, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company between May 2001 and 2007. Prior to joining the Company in 2001, he was General Secretary at The Association for the Promotion of Skiing from 1997 until 2001. Earlier in his career, he worked in various positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer from 1992 to 1997 at ABB CFO at Elektrisk Bureau AS Finance Manager at Elektro Union AS and Treasurer at National Elektro AS . Previously he was Board Member in Anthon B Nilsen AS and Chairman of ABB Asea Skandia AS, ABB Komponent AS, ABB Eiendom AS, ABB Financial Services AS, ABB Pensjonskasse and Project Risk Committee . He holds a Masters degree in Business and Economics from Handelshoyskolen BI from 1981 and a MBA degree from the University of Wisconsin from 1982. He also completed International Finance Program at ISNEAD in 1986. since 2013.
