In 2001, he moved on to be a partner at General Atlantic Partners, a private equity investment firm. Between 2004 and 2009, he was CEO of Elsevier, the division specialising in scientific and medical information and then from 2009 CEO of RELX Group. Skills and competencies Erik has successfully reshaped RELX Groups business in terms of portfolio and geographies. He brings a deep understanding of how technology can be used to transform a business and insight into the development of new commercial models that deliver attractive economics.
