Mr. Robert A. Ortenzio is Executive Chairman of the Board, CoFounder of the Company. Mr. Ortenzio served as our Executive Chairman and CoFounder since January 1, 2014. Mr. Ortenzio served as our Chief Executive Officer from January 1, 2005 until December 31, 2013, and Mr. Ortenzio served as our President and Chief Executive Officer from September 2001 to January 1, 2005. Mr. Ortenzio also served as our President and Chief Operating Officer from February 1997 to September 2001. Mr. Ortenzio cofounded the Company and has served as a director since February 1997. Mr. Ortenzio also serves on the board of directors of Concentra Group Holdings Parent. He was an Executive Vice President and a director of HorizonCMS Healthcare Corporation from July 1995 until July 1996. In 1986, Mr. Ortenzio cofounded Continental Medical Systems, Inc., serving in a number of different capacities, including as a Senior Vice President from February 1986 until April 1988, as Chief Operating Officer from April 1988 until July 1995, as President from May 1989 until August 1996, and as Chief Executive Officer from July 1995 until August 1996. Before cofounding Continental Medical Systems, Inc., he was a Vice President of Rehab Hospital Services Corporationrationration. Mr. Ortenzio is the son of Rocco A. Ortenzio, our Vice Chairman and CoFounder. since 2014.
