Mr. Tomas Nicolin has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB since 2009. He is also Member of the Company Nomination Committee and Risk and Capital Committee. Mr. Nicolin holds a number of directorships in various companies and organizations, including Director of Nordstjernan AB, Nobel Foundation, Axel and Margaret Axson Johnsons Foundation. He is also Chairman of Center for Justice and Member of the Investment Committee of Niam Property Fund. During the course of his career, he served as Chief Executive Officer at such companies as Alecta, the Third National Swedish Pension Fund and E. Ohman Jor Fondkommission, and held managerial position at Handelsbanken since 2009.

S E BANKEN Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the S E's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: S E inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of SEBA. The board's role is to monitor S E's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. S E's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects. On the other hand, S E's outside directors are responsible for providing unbiased perspectives on the board's policies.
