Mr. Jens Jesper Ovesen was Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB since 2014. He started his professional career at Price Waterhouse and served as Vice President and later on Group Chief Executive of Baltica Bank AS . He is a former Vice President and Head of Finance of Novo Nordisk AS . He also held the Chief Financial Officer position at Den Danske Bank AS and LEGO Holding AS . He was also Chief Executive Officer of Kirkbi Group . Most recently he served as Chief Financial Officer of TDC AS since 2014.

Elected by the shareholders, the S E's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: S E inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of SEBA. The board's role is to monitor S E's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served.
