Mr. Marcelo Claure is Executive Chairman of the Board of Sprint Corporationrationration. He is no longer Chief Executive Officer effective May 31, 2018. Mr. Claure was named President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 11, 2014, and has served on the Sprint board of directors since January 2014. In addition, Mr. Claure was nominated to serve as a director of SoftBank, which is expected to be voted on in June 2017. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of Brightstar, a company he founded in 1997 and grew from a small Miamibased distributor of mobile device accessories into a global business with more than 10 billion in gross revenue for the year ended 2013. Mr. Claure serves on the board of directors of CTIAThe Wireless Association and was a member of its 2016 Executive Committee. He also is a member of the board of directors of My Brothers Keeper Alliance. since 2018.
