Dr. Theodor Weimer was Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Boerse Aktiengesellschaft since January 1, 2018. From 2013 to 2017 he was Member of the Executive Committee of Unicredit Group, Milan and from 2011 to 2013 he acted as Member of the Business Executive Committee of Unicredit Croup, Milan. Prior to that, he worked for Bayerische Hypound Vereinsbank AG UniCredit Group, Muenchen as Executive Chairman of Global Investment Banking and was Designated Spokesman of the Management Board as of January 1, 2009. In 2007 he served at UniCredit Group, Milan, Markets Investment Banking Division as Head of Global Investment Banking. Prior to that, he served at Goldman, Sachs Co. oHG, FrankfurtMain including from 2004 to 2007 Partner at the Investment Banking Division and from 2001 to 2004 as Managing Director. From 1995 to 2001 he served at Bain Company, Inc., Munich as Senior Partner, Member of the Global Management Committee of Bain Company, Boston and from 1988 to 1995 at McKinsey Company, Dusseldorf as Management Consultant. He graduated from Rheinische FriedrichWilhelmsUniversitat Bonn and studied economics, business administration and geography at the University of Tuebingen and the University of St. Gallen. since 2018.
