Mr. James Ding is Independent Director of NQ Mobile Inc., since April 2012. He has served as company director since June 2007. Mr. Ding is also a general partner and managing director of the GSR Venture, LLP., a VC fund focusing on early stage technology companies in China. He also has served as the independent director of Baidu Inc., the leading Chinese language search engine listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market, since August 2005. In 1993, Mr. Ding cofounded AsianInfoLinkage, Inc., or AILK, a Nasdaqlisted company. He has served as the chairman of the board of directors of AILK since April 2003 and has served as a member of the board of AILK since its inception. He was AILKs chief executive officer and president from May 1999 to April 2003. Mr. Ding received a masters degree in information science from the University of California, Los Angeles and a bachelors degree in chemistry from Peking University. Mr. Ding is also a graduate of the executive program of Haas Business School at University of California, Berkeley. since 2012.
