Mr. Henry A. Fernandez serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Fernandez has served as a director and Chairman of our Board since 2007 and as our CEO since 1998. He served as our President from 1998 to 2017. Before leading MSCIs transition to becoming a fully independent, standalone public company in 2009, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he worked in emerging markets product strategy, equity derivative sales and trading, mergers and acquisitions, worldwide corporate finance and mortgage finance for U.S. financial institutions. Mr. Fernandez worked for Morgan Stanley from 1983 to 1991 and from 1994 to 2009 since 2017.
