Mr. Mark D. Ein is an Independent Chairman of the Board of the Company. He has served as our Chairman of the Board and a Director since March 2013, and previously served as our Chief Executive Officer, Treasurer and Secretary prior to our business combination with Lindblad Expeditions, Inc. in July 2015. Mr. Ein is currently the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Capitol Investment Corporationration IV., which completed its IPO in August 2017. From July 2015 until its completed business combination in June 2017, Mr. Ein was also the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Capitol Acquisition Corporationration III . Since the closing of the business combination, Mr. Ein has continued to serve as a director and ViceChairman of Capitol III . From 2009 until 2015, Mr. Ein was the Vice Chairman and CoFounder of Two Harbors Investment Corporationration, one of the largest residential mortgage REITs that today has a market capitalization of approximately 4.0 billion. Mr. Ein is an investor, entrepreneur and philanthropist, who has created, acquired, invested in and built a series of growth companies across a diverse set of industries over the course of his 25year career since 2015.

Lindblad Expeditions Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Lindblad Expeditions' board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Lindblad Expeditions inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Lindblad.
