He joined the Company in 1999 when the Company acquired Centocor, Inc., where he was Senior Vice President, Finance. Mr. Caruso was named Vice President, Finance of OrthoMcNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc., a subsidiary of the Company, in 2001, and Vice President, Group Finance of the Companys Medical Devices and Diagnostics Group in 2003. In 2005, Mr. Caruso was named Vice President of the Companys Group Finance organization. Mr. Caruso became a member of the Executive Committee and Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer in 2007. In April 2016, he was named Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Caruso has responsibility for financial and investor relations activities, as well as the Companys procurement organization.
