Mr. Jeffrey C. Sprecher is a Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. As our Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for our strategic direction, operational and financial performance. Mr. Sprecher acquired Continental Power Exchange, or CPEX, our predecessor company, in 1997. Prior to acquiring CPEX, Mr. Sprecher held a number of positions, including President, over a fourteenyear period with Western Power Group, Inc., a developer, owner and operator of large centralstation power plants. While with Western Power, he was responsible for a number of significant financings since 2002.
