Mr. Roland G. Gentzler has resigned as Vice President Finance Treasurer of the Company. effective 30 May 2016. In these roles he is responsible for financial analysis SEC reporting risk management cash management tax operations research and credit. Gentzler started with the company in 1976 as an accountant in the Austin Minn. plant. He was quickly moved to the position of manager of general accounting and claims in Fort Dodge Iowa later in 1976. He was the office manager for the Dallas plant in 1980 as well as the office manager for the Ottumwa Iowa plant. In 1987 he was promoted to supervisor of internal auditing at the corporate office in Austin Minn. and in 1988 he was promoted to accounting manager for FDL Foods in Dubuque Iowa. In 1993 he moved to accounting coordinator and in 1994 he was named the director of finance for FDL Foods. He moved back to the corporate office in 1995 as the manager of cost accounting. He was promoted to assistant controller in 2000 and was advanced to director of accounting for the refrigerated foods division later that same year. He was named to the position he currently holds in 2007. He received a BS degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota.

Hormel Foods Leadership Team
