Mr. Nikolaos Evarestos Pimplis serves as Legal Advisor of Hellenic Exchanges Athens Stock Exchange S.A. He served as NonExecutive Independent Director of the Company from May 19, 2011 until April 30, 2014. He is an attorney, a partner in the Koutalidis law firm, a former legal advisor of the Athens Stock Exchange from 1996 until 1999 and a member of its legal council from 2001until 2004. He holds a degree in Law from Universite Paris 1 PantheonSorbonne and holds a post graduate degree and with a doctoral dissertation in private international law. He was an assistant in the University of Maine Law School, and an assistant professor in the University of Cergy Pontoise in Paris, where he collaborated with the law firm Celice et Blancpain until 1994. He has served as a member of the central law drafting Committee under the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, a member of the Committee for the codification of capital market legislation, a member of the law drafting Committee for the adoption of Directive 200439EC21.4.2004 concerning securities markets into Greek law he has also served as a member of a number of other law drafting Committees on issues concerning the capital market and the exchange. He has published articles and studies concerning commercial law and capital market law. He is a legal advisor of the Athens Concert Hall Organization, and a member of the Board of Directors of the companies Naftemporiki, FG Europe, RF Enenrgy, Lambrakis Press and Athens Exchange Clearing House.

Elected by the shareholders, the Hellenic Exchanges' board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Hellenic Exchanges inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Hellenic.
