Mr. George L. Ford is Director of Highlands Bankshares Inc . He is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Grant County Bank since January 15, 2011. Mr. Ford graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors degree from West Virginia University. He was employed for five years with the United States Department of Agriculture, Farmers Home Administration and joined The Grant County Bank as a Collections Officer in 1996. He was promoted to Vice President in 2006 and to Executive Vice President in February, 2010. Mr. Ford is active in the Kiwanis Club of Petersburg and currently serves on the Board of the Grant County Library Commission. since 2011.
