Mr. Michael Zimmerman is a Director of Gaiam, Inc. Mr. Zimmerman founded Prentice Capital Management, LP, a New Yorkbased private investment firm and our largest institutional shareholder, in May 2005 and was its Chief Executive Officer and managing partner since its inception. From 2000 to 2005, he managed investments in the retail and consumer sector for S.A.C. Capital Management and prior to that he worked at Lazard Asset Management. Mr. Zimmerman is currently on the board of ItSugar, one of the largest specialty candy and gift retailers in the world since 2014.
