Mr. James L. Exum is an Independent Director of the Company. He has a long career at Murray Guard, Inc., a privatelyheld security contractor founded in Tennessee, serving as the Executive Vice President from 2003 to 2011, Senior Vice President from 2011 to 2017, and currently as the Executive Vice President Emeritus. He also serves on Murray Guard, Inc.s board of directors, a directorship he has held since 1987. In 1983, he cofounded TotalREACH, Inc., a division of Murray Guard, Inc. specializing in cable advertising sales and production and worked with that company until 2003. He has substantial civic leadership in the city of Jackson, TN, an important metropolitan statistical area for FirstBank, as he currently serves on the boards of FirstBank and Carnegie Museum. Mr. Exum is currently the Chairman of Jackson Amphitheater, and the Jackson Convention and Visitors Bureau and is a member of the City of Jackson Budget Committee. since 2017.
