He served as a Vice President at GSO Capital Partners, the creditinvestment arm of The Blackstone Group, from 2010 to 2011, and as a Senior Counsel at the New Yorkbased hedge fund TPGAxon Capital from 2007 to 2010. Mr. Ballas was a corporate associate at the law firm of Simpson Thacher Bartlett LLP from 2002 to 2007 since 2017.
