Mr. Gary L. Lauer is Chairman of the Board Chief Executive Officer of eHealth Inc. Mr. Lauer has served as chief executive officer since December 1999 and as chairman of board of directors since March 2002. He also served as president from December 1999 to March 2012. Prior to joining us Mr. Lauer was the chairman and chief executive officer of MetaCreations Corporationrationration. Prior to MetaCreations Mr. Lauer spent more than nine years at Silicon Graphics Inc. a computing technology company where he was a member of the senior executive team. Mr. Lauer started his career at IBM in sales and marketing management. Mr. Lauer holds a B.S. degree in finance and marketing from the University of Southern California Business School. Mr. Lauer serves as a member of the board of directors of Vantiv Inc. since 2012.

eHealth Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the EHealth's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: EHealth inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of EHealth.
