Mr. J.Tomilson Hill is no longer a Vice Chairman of the Board of Blackstone Group LP, Director of the General Partner of the Company Effective December 31, 2018. Mr. Hill is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hedge Fund Solutions group, Vice Chairman of Blackstone and a member of the board of directors of our general partner. Mr. Hill was elected to the board of directors of our general partner effective March 20, 2007. He also sits on the firms Management Committee. Mr. Hill previously served as CoHead of the Corporationrationrate and Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory group before assuming his role as Chief Executive Officer of BAAM. In his current capacity, Mr. Hill is responsible for overseeing the daytoday activities of the group, including investment management, client relationships, product development, marketing, operations and administration. He is a member of the board of directors of Patria Investment Limited. Before joining Blackstone in 1993, Mr. Hill began his career at First Boston, later becoming one of the CoFounders of its Mergers Acquisitions Department. After running the Mergers Acquisitions Department at Smith Barney, he joined Lehman Brothers as a partner in 1982, serving as CoHead and subsequently Head of Investment Banking. Later, he served as CoChief Executive Officer of Lehman Brothers and CoPresident and CoCOO of Shearson Lehman Brothers Holding Inc. Mr. Hill is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations where he is Chairman Emeritus of the Investment Committee and serves on the Councils board of directors, and is a member of the board of directors of Lincoln Center Theater, where he is Chairman Emeritus. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C.
