Dr. Manfred Bischoff is NonExecutive Director of Airbus Group SE since March 27 2013. He holds a Masters and PhD in Economics from RuprechtKarlsUniversitaet Heidelberg. Having joined DaimlerBenz AG in 1976 Mr. Bischoff became Chief Financial Officer of MercedesBenz do Brasil in 1988. In 1989 he was appointed to the Board of Management of Deutsche Aerospace as CFO and in 1995 became Chairman of the Board of Management of DaimlerBenz Aerospace and a Member of the Board of Management of DaimlerBenz AG. At the foundation of EADS in 2000 Mr. Bischoff became its Chairman a position he held until April 2007 when he was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DaimlerChrysler AG. Currently he is also Member of the Board of Unicredit SpA Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Voith GmbH and Member of the Supervisory Board of KPN NV. since 2013.
